Food Review – The Junkyard Cafe

Hey cocktails! How are you doing? Well! We hope you all doing great.

We all love food, right? And when you are from Delhi, you can’t say NO to food in any manner. Delhi has been always considered as the city of food, be it any flavour. We guess, you must have got an idea by now that this post is about food only.

One week ago (2nd July 2016), we got an amazing opportunity to taste the yummy food at The Junkyard Café, situated in Saket. It was a bloggers’ meet and the first thing which clicked our mind was the ambiance. It was just funky and amazingly designed. Before we jump on what we had at the café, let me show you few clicks of the same.

And now that you had a look at the ambiance, let us jump to all the cuisines and drinks we tasted at the event. Here the list goes:

paneer tikka

Junkyard Style Paneer Tikka: We liked the presentation first of all, and secondly, the taste was total desi. The spices were very well mixed with the paneer, which was a plus point for us, the Indians. We liked the taste too; it was good, yet super yummilicious.

hara bhara kabab

Hara Bhara Kabab: And this was one of our favourite snacks that we ate. Again the presentation was just beautiful. The yumminess of the snack was up to the mark and it won’t leave you disappointed.

spring roll

Spring Rolls: Spring rolls are one of the common snack we eat now and then. Then what was special about these Spring Rolls? The sauce it comes with! The sauce was hell yummy and spicy, which was going well with the spring rolls.

paan chaat

Palak Patta Chaat: We finally tried something innovative at the event. We never thought that palak could be presented in such an interesting and tasty way. The look of this snack is so appealing that you can’t stop yourself from trying it. The taste was yummy and the presentation was superb.

honey chilli potato

Honey Chilli Potato: Potatoes are our favourite, no matter in which and manner these are presented to us. Here too we liked the presentation but there was little disappointment on our face as far as taste is concerned. It was not that yummy but was an ok ok affair for us.

iced tea peach

Iced Tea Peach: We tried 3 drinks at the event and Iced Tea was one of them. We opted for Iced Tea in the flavour Peach. We must say, along with the presentation the taste was delicious. Frankly speaking, the taste of this Iced Tea can’t be expressed in just words. We’d recommend you to go and have it yourself.

Milkshake Banana and Cake: This milkshake is like a complete package for anyone. If you have this milkshake, we bet you don’t require any other snack, cuisine or drink to make your tummy full. This milkshake is so heavy as it contains banana and cake. We loved the taste and presentation with no doubt.

cold coffee vanilla

Cold Coffee Vanilla: Coffee is our best friend so we had to try one drink, which is enriched with quality coffee. We chose Vanilla flavour as it is our all time favourite. This drink doesn’t have anything fancy in it but you’ll surely be indulged in the flavour of Vanilla.

Rating: 4.75/5

These were the amazing food items and drink we tasted at The Junkyard Café. We were left impressed after the event with the kind of hospitality offered. According to us, this is the perfect place to go if you love hanging out with friends. Not only friends, you can have a good time with your family as well at The Junkyard Café. It is a big thumbs up from our side.

Team The Gemini Cocktail recommends The Junkyard Café as a must visit place to hangout.
